These Terms govern your use of AfterSession. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using AfterSession on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.
AfterSession is a documentation support tool.
It helps you turn post-session notes into structured clinical documentation.
It does not record therapy sessions or provide clinical advice.
You're responsible for the content you enter and the final notes you save or export.
Don't submit content you don't have the right to share.
Don't submit information you do not intend to store, review, or manage within your account.
No abuse, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to bypass security safeguards.
No unlawful use.
AfterSession offers a free trial period. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Paid subscriptions may include acceptance of a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) when applicable.

If you are on a paid plan and have accepted a Business Associate Agreement (BAA), that agreement governs HIPAA-specific obligations in addition to these Terms.
AfterSession does not provide medical advice.
You remain responsible for clinical judgment and compliance obligations.
AfterSession is not intended for emergency or urgent clinical situations.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We recommend consulting with legal counsel regarding your specific compliance requirements.
We aim to be fair and reasonable in how responsibility is shared.
To the extent permitted by law, AfterSession's liability for any claims arising from or related to your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we'll post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
