Business Associate Agreement (BAA)

For paid plans, we sign a BAA to support HIPAA-aligned use of AfterSession. The free trial doesn't require one — you'll sign it when you upgrade.

When does this apply?

This Business Associate Agreement applies only to paid plans and is presented for review and acceptance during the upgrade process.

AfterSession is designed for post-session documentation workflows. If you're a covered entity and require a BAA, we provide one for paid customers.

How to get a BAA

1
Upgrade to a paid plan

BAAs are available for paid subscribers. You can try AfterSession free first — you'll sign the BAA when you're ready to upgrade.

2
Request the BAA

Reach out via our contact page to request your BAA.

3
We countersign and send it back

Typical turnaround: 1–2 business days.

What a BAA is (and isn't)
  • A BAA helps define responsibilities for safeguarding PHI.

  • A BAA is not a substitute for your own compliance program or clinical responsibilities.
